
As a PE Teacher looking for long-term of supply work, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork and wellbeing. Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teaching a broad PE curriculum across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed where applicable)
Promoting healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship and physical confidence
Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress to support achievement
Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
Working collaboratively with the Head of PE, support staff and wider school team
Adapting teaching to support students with SEND, EAL or additional learning needs
Building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
Contributing to extracurricular sports, clubs, fixtures and enrichment activities
About You
We are looking for a PE Teacher who is:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred – ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply
Confident teaching PE across KS3 and KS4
Passionate about physical education, health and student wellbeing
Calm, reflective and consistent in their approach to behaviour management
A strong communicator who works effectively within a team
Organised, adaptable and confident in managing practical lessons and routines
