Steel Plater / Fabricator – Permanent Position

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £21 per hour (£41,496 per year)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 - 00:30 (39 hours per week)

Are you an experienced Plater / Fabricator looking for a long-term, stable role with excellent pay? We are hiring for a well-established and growing company in Loughborough that is looking to expand its skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting, shaping, and assembling steel plate components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Operating fabrication machinery, including grinders, drill presses, and shears
• Performing MIG welding where required
• Conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in steel fabrication and plating
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Skilled in welding, grinding, and using hand and power tools
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
