Plumber

Job Description:

Our public sector client are looking for a Plumber on a tempoary basis.

Job Purpose

To carry out high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across CBC properties, ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations to a high standard.

• Support responsive repairs, void property works, and planned maintenance.

• Work across trades where necessary to meet service demands.

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations.

• Report safeguarding concerns and major variations in repair needs.

• Maintain accurate records using digital tools (e.g. PDA).

• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.

• Attend training and toolbox talks to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repair.

• Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ or equivalent).

• Full UK driving licence.

• Ability to use digital devices to log and manage jobs.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Awareness of health & safety and safeguarding protocols.
