Job Description:
A growing business operating within the cyber security sector is seeking a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer to join its technical team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both internal sales teams and external partners by providing expert technical guidance, delivering product demonstrations and helping customers identify the most suitable security solutions.
This position is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in networking and cybersecurity who enjoys working in a customer-facing technical role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering presentations and demonstrations of the company’s cyber security product portfolio to technical and non-technical audiences
- Responding to technical enquiries received via phone, teams and emails
- Providing pre-sales technical support to internal and external sales teams
- Identifying and developing cross-selling opportunities within existing and prospective customers
- Proactively investigating potential opportunities to expand solution adoption
- Assisting with remote installation and configuration of products for evaluation purposes
- Delivering pre-sales training sessions to partner organisations
- Producing reports and documentation following customer meetings and engagements
- Conducting competitive analysis and advising on products within the cyber security market
Skills Required:
- Strong networking and cyber security technical skill set
- Knowledge of cyber security solutions would be an advantage
- Ability to present technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences
- A willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- A Full UK Driving Licence
This role is Monday-Friday, core hours 9-5.30. This is an office based role.
