Precast Concrete QC Inspector

Job Description:

We are looking for two experienced QC Inspectors to join a specialist precast concrete project in Market Harborough. Working as part of a structured quality assurance process, you will be responsible for inspecting precast concrete elements on site, ensuring all units meet the required specification and design intent before and during installation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect precast concrete elements for overall geometry and dimensional accuracy
• Check cast-in components including lifting anchors, dowels, sockets and fixings
• Assess general quality and surface finish, identifying and recording any defects
• Ensure all units comply with drawings, specifications and tolerances
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in QC/quality inspection on precast concrete or reinforced concrete (RC) projects
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications
• Background in civil engineering, precast manufacturing, or site inspection
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Relevant qualifications or CSCS card advantageous
