Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: South Leicestershire

We are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic HLTA to join a friendly, inclusive and supportive primary school in South Leicestershire. Role Overview
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play an important part in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your duties will include:

• Delivering learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes
• Providing targeted academic support
• Leading small group interventions
• Assisting teachers in planning and assessing pupils’ progress
• Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with varying abilities and needs
• Contributing positively to whole-school life and team collaboration

No two days will be the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children every day.
About You We are looking for someone who is motivated, confident and passionate about supporting children. You should have:

• A HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
• The ability to engage and motivate pupils
• A patient, caring and positive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine desire to support children’s progress and wellbeing
