Salary: £95 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking caring and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Chaddesden. As a Primary TA, this role is perfect for someone dedicated to helping pupils thrive academically and socially in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Assist with lesson preparation and support teachers during lessons.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils to reinforce learning.
• Support positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
• Help prepare and organise learning materials.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and well-being.

Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting is desirable.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps.
