Principal / Associate Structural Engineer Location: Leicester
Salary: from £50k to £70k DoE plus benefits package

The Opportunity
As Principal or Associate Structural Engineer you'll utilise a blend of technical leadership, project management and team development. You will take ownership of multiple projects, oversee engineers and technicians, and act as a key point of contact for clients and external stakeholders relevant to your experience level, with support from the wider leadership team. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a more senior leadership position within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What You’ll Be Doing - Managing the design & delivery of projects across multiple sectors
- Leading project teams and allocating resources to meet deadlines
- Overseeing production of calculations, drawings & technical documents
- Acting as main point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors
- Attending meetings and confidently representing the business
- Supporting and mentoring engineers and technicians
- Ensuring projects are to a high technical and commercial standard
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
What They’re Looking For - BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Around 8 years+ of relevant post-graduate experience
- Chartered or working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE
- Design & analysis experience in steel, concrete, timber & masonry
- Proficiency in relevant structural design software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- A proactive and positive approach to teamwork and problem solving
- Full UK driving licence
