Principle Civil Design Engineer

Job Description:

I'm currently working with a client within the UK water sector that is looking to hire a Principle Civil Engineer at design level.

This is a hands-on engineering design roles focused on water and wastewater treatment projects, supporting the delivery of cost effective and buildable technical solutions within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Producing and developing civil engineering design layouts for water/wastewater infrastructure
  
• Working closely with other disciplines including MEICA and process teams
  
• Ensuring designs meet technical standards, safety requirements, and constructability expectations
  
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
  

Desirables:

• 8 -10 year's experience within the UK water sector
  
• Experience in civil design within water and sewage treatment
  
• A strong understanding of plant layout and infrastructure design
  
• The ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
  
• Degree in Engineering, chartered or equivalent
  

Offer:

• Contract - 12 months rolling
  
• Rate - £550 per day (Inside IR35)
  
• Location - Derby
  
• Working arrangement: 3 days per week for the first 3 months - then relaxed to 2 days week
