Waste Water and Water Treatment

Contract Pay Outside IR35

£30 - £45 per hour

Responsibilities Contract Process Engineer

• System Design & Modelling - Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), plant layouts, and hydraulic models for new or upgraded wastewater treatment plants.
• Optimisation & Troubleshooting - Analyse underperforming plants, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to improve effluent quality, reduce energy consumption, and manage chemical usage.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and implement advanced treatment technologies (e.g., membrane bioreactors, sludge management).
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all processes meet strict environmental regulations and safety standards before discharging treated water.
• Collaboration & Project Management: Work with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to manage infrastructure projects, from conceptual design to construction and commissioning.

Requirements Contract Process Engineer

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering (Process or Chemical).
• At least 3 years' experience in the applicable Engineering dept.
• Knowledge of process related standards; Experience in process simulations and calculation.
• Working knowledge of process engineering software packages. AutoCad skills.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations.
• Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal attitude.
• Experience in HAZOP/SIL meetings.
