SALARY: Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience

BENEFITS:   to include 25 days plus bank holidays, a great pension contribution match up to 7.5%, hybrid working options ie 3 days in the office two at home

HOURS: Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager. This is an exciting role where you will be managing the day-to-day procurement supply chain activities for a global business. Reporting directly to the Chief of Finance, you will be part of the senior management team and be responsible for developing, driving forward and focusing on our client’s procurement strategy. As the Procurement Manager you will be a MCIPS and have gained a Degree or equivalent qualification ideally within Business, Engineering or Supply Chain.

Our client is a global supplier that manufactures logistics systems, and they are seeking a candidate who is a MCIPS with the knowledge of material handling systems, along with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain, procurement and logistics.

Role profile:

• To deliver a sustainable procurement service
• Developing the procurement strategy
• Delivering an efficient and effective customer service at all times
• Overseeing 'Requests for Quotations' and assessing submissions
• Managing the subcontractor contracts, budgets and payments
• Looking at cost comparisons for suppliers
• Managing the Supply Chain Coordinator
• Establishing new and building upon existing policies and processes.
• Project procurement & logistics in co-operation with internal Project Managers
• Ensuring project materials are delivered to the correct location and on time, at the best cost
• Making continuous improvements

• Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply
• Strong negotiator with excellent communication skills

• Risk management experience and knowledge
• Strategic at sourcing supplies
• Financial and commercial skills
• Strong Leadership
