Production Co-Ordinator

Job Description:

Premier Placement Services are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and thriving manufacturer of specialist products who supply to a wide variety of industries globally.

They are looking for a Manufacturing Production Coordinator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys being at the centre of operations.

As a Manufacturing Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring r production operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with manufacturing, planning, engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams to keep schedules on track, materials flowing, and customer commitments met.

This is a role for someone who loves organisation, communication, and problem‑solving — and who wants to make a real impact on daily production performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets

• Monitor upcoming production and adjust schedules to address delays, equipment issues, or material shortages

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure materials, tooling, and resources are available

• Manage production backlog and ensure data accuracy

• Lead weekly new‑order review meetings and track resulting actions

• Raise purchase order requests for materials and tooling

• Monitor supply and demand to support planning decisions

• Prepare accurate production reports, documentation, and records

Requirements

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels and build strong internal relationships

• A proactive approach to problem‑solving

• Comfort working in a dynamic manufacturing environment

• Experience in production coordination, planning, or a similar role (preferred but not essential)
