Production Operative - Leicester

4 on / 4 off · Days & Nights · Full Time · Temp-Perm

Join a leading UK manufacturer of high‑performance composite materials. You'll be part of a busy, supportive production team creating products used across automotive, aerospace, marine and other high‑tech industries. If you enjoy hands‑on work, teamwork and learning new skills, this role is for you.

Pay & Shifts

• £12.21 per hour for first 8 hours
• Time + 1/3 for the remaining hours
• £15 daily shift allowance (avg £14.71 per hour)
• 12‑hour shifts, 4 on / 4 off
• Rotating Days (06:00-18:00) and Nights (18:00-06:00)
• Must be able to work both-no fixed shifts

What You'll Do

• Operate automated & manual machinery (full training provided)
• Work on raw materials lines and complete finishing processes
• Carry out quality checks and follow production schedules
• Use computer systems for stock checks & data entry
• Keep accurate records for audits
• Move materials using pump trucks/overhead cranes
• General housekeeping & basic maintenance
• Report any issues to your Line Manager

What You Need

• Basic literacy, numeracy & computer skills
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating day/night shifts
• Reliable travel for 6am starts
