
Prestigious engineering company based in Loughborough are looking for a Production & Progress Planner to join them.
Based at Head Office this position is pivotal within the company, co-ordinating, planning, monitoring, progressing company orders and parts, and liaising with all departments including customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Place equipment and component orders with suppliers in the SAGE system.
· Monitoring delivery dates to ensure that deliveries are made on time..
· Keep in contact with suppliers.
· Attending weekly production meeting.
· Work with Workshop Manager to ensure any issues with delivery dates are quickly addressed.
· Convey information on potential hold ups to Project Engineer and advise customers of any change in delivery dates.
· Manage and monitor stocks.
· Raising invoices, monitoring payment due dates and handling delivery notes.
· Reports to the Project Engineer.
· Work closely with Project Engineer and Workshop.
