Production Supervisor - Sheet Metal

Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Production / Fabrication Supervisor to join a busy and growing manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead from the front, support the team, and play a key part in training and developing new staff.

If you’ve got solid experience across press, laser and welding, and you’re ready to step into (or continue in) a supervisory role — this is a great opportunity.

Shift Options

AM Shift (Days)

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 2:00pm

PM Shift (Nights)

• Monday to Wednesday: 2:00pm – Midnight
• Thursday: 2:00pm – 11:30pm
• Friday: OFF

The Role

• Supervise day-to-day production within the fabrication department
• Lead, support and motivate shop floor teams
• Train and induct new staff across press, laser and welding
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
• Maintain high standards of quality and health & safety
• Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in fabrication
• MUST have experience with:
  • Press machinery
  • Laser cutting
  • Welding (MIG/TIG preferred)
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience
• Confident training and mentoring new staff
• Good understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
• Reliable, proactive and able to lead by example
