We are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Leicester.

The company operates within the point of sale (POS) and retail display sector, producing promotional display units used by well-known brands in retail environments. Due to continued demand, they are looking to add an experienced Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of their production operation.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced assembly environment, overseeing production operatives and ensuring output, quality and health and safety standards are consistently maintained.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervising a team within a production and assembly environment
• Supporting the smooth running of the production line
• Ensuring orders are completed to deadlines and production targets
• Training and supporting both permanent and temporary staff
• Monitoring productivity, quality standards and workflow
• Promoting strong health and safety practices on the shop floor
• Communicating effectively with management and production teams

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous Team Leader, Line Leader or Supervisory experience within manufacturing or production
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confidence leading and supporting a team
• Ability to work to deadlines and production targets
• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
