My client is a growing, family-owned engineering business based in Leicester, operating at the forefront of their sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a skilled Project Engineer to join their Project Engineering team and help bridge the gap between design and successful on-site delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, project variety, and working in a hands-on engineering environment.
 
The Role – Project Engineer: 

• Leading the technical aspects of assigned projects from inception through to completion
• Working closely with the Drawing Office Manager to review, interpret, and implement technical drawings and specifications
• Calculating and planning material and labour requirements to support effective project delivery
• Acting as a key technical point of contact between design, site teams, and stakeholders
• Attending the site to conduct surveys, oversee technical installation,s and resolve engineering issues
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations
• Proactively identifying technical risks and resolving issues before they impact delivery

Minimum Skills / Experience Required – Project Engineer: 

• Proven experience in a Project Engineer, Project Engineering, or Technical Engineering role
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings (CAD / BIM experience beneficial)
• A practical, problem-solving approach to engineering challenges
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
• A full UK Driving Licence (essential due to site travel)
• Previous lift industry experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential
