We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver a range of heavy rolling stock modification, retrofit, refurbishment, and overhaul projects. Working within a fast‑paced engineering environment, you will be responsible for ensuring all project activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised, and technically astute project professional who thrives in hands‑on rail engineering settings.

• Lead end‑to‑end project management of rolling stock modification and overhaul programmes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, production, procurement, and quality.
• Manage project schedules, risk registers, budgets, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with safety, technical, and regulatory standards.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure efficient project delivery.

To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate:

• Proven project management experience in heavy rolling stock environments, specifically involving:
  • Modifications
  • Retrofits
  • Refurbishment
  • Overhaul programmes
• Strong understanding of rail industry processes, standards, and engineering controls.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
