Job Summary:
We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Manager to oversee automated doors and integrated systems projects. The role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from quoting and ordering materials to scheduling, site management, and client handover. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth project flow, maintain accurate documentation, and support the engineering team with compelling project information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate project quotes based on client requirements and specifications.
- Upload project details and documentation into the companyβs sales and project management system.
- Order materials, components, and equipment necessary for project installation.
- Write comprehensive risk assessments and method statements to ensure safety and compliance.
- Review and mark up drawings, ensuring accurate project details and modifications.
- Upload and manage project information on the mobile engineer app to facilitate site operations.
- Generate and provide detailed and compelling project information for engineering teams.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including scheduling labour, overseeing site works, and coordinating resources.
- Monitor project progress, addressing issues promptly to ensure timely completion.
- Compile and organise project documentation for handovers, including completion certificates, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and handover reports.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and support installation teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in project management within the automated doors, security, or access control industry.
- Strong understanding of automated door systems, integrated security solutions, and site management procedures.
- Experience in quoting, ordering, and managing project documentation.
- Knowledge of risk and method statement preparation.
- Familiarity with project management software and mobile apps for engineers.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (e.g., HNC, BSc, PMP) are advantageous.
