About the Role
A respected regional contractor is seeking a skilled Project Manager to take the lead on a new-build industrial units scheme in Coventry. You’ll be responsible for driving the project from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring high-quality delivery while representing the contractor professionally and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project delivery, ensuring programme, cost, and quality targets are met.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
• Oversee design coordination, procurement, and commercial management in collaboration with internal teams.
• Chair progress meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior management.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
• Support the contractor’s reputation for reliability, safety, and high standards across the region.

About You

• Experience delivering industrial, warehousing, commercial, or steel frame projects with a main contractor.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Good understanding of construction processes, site management, and contract forms (JCT/NEC).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), and First Aid preferred.
• Qualification in construction management, engineering, or similar is beneficial.
