Purchasing Administrator
Loughborough
£25,000 - £27,000 DOE
We're looking for a proactive and motivated Purchasing Administrator to join a fast-growing business in Loughborough. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of the Purchasing team, driving efficiency, supporting key processes, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly from order to delivery.
Description of the role:
- Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate availability dates.
- Communicate with overseas suppliers to track and expedite orders.
- Check and process invoices, coordinating with accounts where required.
- Manage queries from sales and customer service teams.
- Gather product data and assist in new product creation on the ERP system.
- Produce regular reports and support the Purchasing Manager with ad hoc tasks.
About you:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative role is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems and/or import freight is desirable but not essential.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team.
