Looking to take your first big step into Quantity Surveying?
We have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy team, based in Loughborough where you'll get hands-on experience, real responsibility, and plenty of support as you learn the ropes.
You'll work closely with project and commercial managers, helping to keep projects running smoothly from a commercial point of view. From cost tracking and forecasting to valuations and invoicing, you'll be involved in the day-to-day commercial side of live infrastructure projects.
 
 
What you'll be doing

• Supporting project and contract managers with commercial and financial tasks
• Keeping cost, forecast, and project data up to date using spreadsheets
• Assisting with valuations, variations, and monthly applications
• Helping produce accurate cost reports and sales forecasts
• Monitoring job costs and flagging any issues
• Maintaining cost value reconciliations and basic P&L information
• Supporting final accounts and attending meetings as required
• Working with internal teams, clients, and consultants
• Occasionally supporting surveying duties on site

 
What we're looking for

• Studying towards, or holding, a Quantity Surveying (or related) qualification
• Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with numbers
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• An understanding of construction processes
• Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
• A driving licence and CSCS card would be a bonus but not essential
