The East Midlands Team at Smile Education are proud to be supporting the Mowbray Education Trust in recruiting a Qualified Secondary Teachers (QTS required) for a full and part time positions at one of their secondary schools in Shepshed.

Iveshead school is a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking secondary school for students aged 11–19. The school believes learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, and enriching. Their curriculum and approach aim to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to continue their future education.
About the Roles

• Full and part-time teaching position from January until July.
• QTS teachers to cover for sickness, training days and PPA cover
• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment
• Become part of a highly supportive, professional school community
• English, Science, MFL amd Humanities teachers especially needed

 
Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)– no other qualifications will be considered
• Strong subject knowledge with good behaviour management.
• Ability to differentiate work effectively for varying abilities
• Committed to creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Willing to engage fully in school life and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Smile Education)
• Two references covering the last two years, including comments on your work with children
