Quality Assurance Inspector (Mechanical / CMM / ISO)
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield (Commutable from Mansfield, Nottingham, Alfreton, Chesterfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Training + Career Progression + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector with a background in mechanical inspection or precision engineering?

The Role:
- Inspect and measure precision-engineered mechanical components to detailed engineering drawings
- Operate CMM machines and use a range of metrology and inspection equipment
- Perform calibration, dimensional checks, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance
- Support documentation, QA processes, and liaise with engineering and production teams on quality issues
The Person:
- Experience as a Quality Inspector, QA Technician, or similar within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Confident using CMM machines and dimensional measurement tools
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and quality inspection techniques
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Keen to develop technical skills within a forward-thinking engineering company
