Quality Auditor – Children’s Social Care

Location: Covering a portfolio of homes and schools, Coventry to Wiltshire. Hybrid with 3 days onsite auditing.
Salary: £40K plus mileage allowance plus great benefits!

Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to represent our client in the search for an experienced Quality Auditor within the children’s social care sector.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring high-quality, safe and compliant services across children’s residential and supported accommodation settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality audits across children’s homes and supported accommodation settings

• Assess compliance against regulatory frameworks and internal quality standards

• Produce clear, accurate audit reports and recommendations

• Support services in implementing improvements

• Work collaboratively with managers to drive quality, safeguarding and best practice

• Regular travel to sites across the region (3 days per week minimum onsite)

Key Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of:

  • The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015

  • The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023

• Experience in auditing, inspection or quality assessment in children’s social care

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly

• Excellent communication, report-writing and analytical skills

• Strong commitment to safeguarding, quality and continuous improvement
