Quality Engineer
Leicester
£38,000 - £40,000 + Performance Bonus Scheme 20-30% + Pension + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer from a manufacturing or engineering background, looking to join a well-established business that supplies into multiple global sectors, including Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Rail, and Marine?

The Role
- Developing, monitoring, and maintaining company quality systems in line with ISO9001 and IATF standards.
- Supporting customers and suppliers, resolving quality issues using tools such as 8D and 5Y.
- Producing PPAPs, FAIRs, ISIRs, and inspection reports on new and existing products.
- Conducting internal and external audits and supporting engineering change processes.
- Monitoring COPQ and driving continuous improvements.
The Person
- Proven background as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 experience highly desirable.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use inspection/measurement equipment.
- Confident in problem solving, auditing, and using Quality Core Tools (8D, 5Y, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans).
- Casting or foundry process knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and team-focused approach.
