Quality Inspector – Engineering & Fabrication
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our client's team, supporting the launch of our new a programme. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong final inspection skills to contribute to a forward-thinking engineering business.
What you’ll be doing:
Carrying out first-off, patrol and in-process inspections of machined and fabricated parts.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Using mechanical/manual inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, callipers, height gauges).
Operating and calibrating inspection tools.
Supporting inspection of goods-in and final components, including visual checks.
Maintaining inspection records and ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards.
Contributing to a clean and safe working environment.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience in a Quality Inspector role within an engineering or fabrication environment.
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work well in a small team, reporting to the Inspection Team Leader.
Flexibility to work across shift patterns as required.
Desirable (but not essential):
CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience.
Weld inspection experience.
