Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Leicestershire, LE4

Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 2:30pm and Friday, 6:30am - 11:30am

The Quality Inspector Role:

• In process (First off / patrol) inspection of machined and fabricated parts
• Read engineering drawings & symbols
• Inspection of components using both mechanical/manual & CMM devices: Micrometres, verniers, gauges & callipers
• Calibration skills for various hand inspection tools - vernier, micrometer
• Read customer specifications and understands the importance of accurate measurements
• Goods inwards inspection
• Visual inspection requirements with attention to detail
• Keeping work environment clean and tidy and practising good housekeeping

About You:

• Experience working to ISO9001:2015
• Able to read engineering drawings & symbols
• Experience using inspection tools including micrometres, verniers, gauges, calipers etc
• Must be willing to work on any shift pattern in line with business needs
• Work well in small team, reporting to Inspection Team Leader
• Weld experience desirable
• CMM Experience desirable
