Quality Inspector

Job Description:

Soraya Recruitment is supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Leicester in the recruitment of a Quality Inspector. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and progression within an established business.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will carry out hands-on quality inspections across a range of manufactured components. You will use precision measuring tools, identify defects, and ensure that all products meet internal and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on components

• Use precision measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges

• Record inspection results and complete all relevant documentation

• Highlight non-conformances and support corrective action processes

• Work closely with production teams to maintain high-quality output

• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and health & safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Confident using measuring tools and equipment

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

• Good communication and problem-solving skills
