
Quality Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead food safety, legality, and quality standards across our manufacturing site. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining BRC compliance, protecting product integrity, and coaching teams to deliver consistently high standards in a fast-paced food production environment.
The Role
You’ll oversee day-to-day quality operations, ensuring raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet food safety, legal, and customer requirements. You’ll proactively identify and escalate non-conformances, drive continuous improvement, and act as a key technical contact for suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead food safety, quality, and BRC compliance across the site
Sample and test raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Maintain and audit quality documentation, CCPs, HACCP, and prerequisite programs
Conduct internal audits, GMP audits, traceability exercises, and annual recall tests
Manage complaints, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality performance reporting
Oversee environmental testing (water, swabbing, allergens) and supplier approval systems
Ensure accurate technical information is provided to customers and received from suppliers
Update and control the Quality Manual, procedures, and records
Lead by example on compliance, food safety culture, and continuous improvement
Support cross-functional teams to meet service and operational targets
Essential Skills & Experience
Quality control experience in a food manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, allergens, and BRC requirements
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing site
Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels
Confident using Microsoft Office and quality systems
Hands-on, resilient, and improvement-focused mindset
