Civils & Groundworks Quantity Surveyor

📍 West Midlands
💰 £45,000 – £55,000 + Package

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation across the Midlands.

Due to continued growth and a healthy secured order book, they are looking to appoint a Civils & Groundworks Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for:

• An Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
• An Intermediate QS looking to develop further
• Or an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a long-term move

The Role

You’ll be working across a range of residential groundworks projects, managing costs from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and managing project budgets
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Liaising with clients, site teams, and commercial management

About You

• Experience in civils / groundworks, ideally within residential schemes
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects or packages
• Ambitious and keen to progress your career
