Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – EV Charging & Power Infrastructure
Location: Derby / Nottingham / Leicester (Hybrid / Field-Based)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, Contract, or Temp-to-Perm

Activus Recruitment is supporting a fast-growing electrical infrastructure specialist delivering EV charging, renewable energy, and high-voltage (HV) connection projects across the UK.

We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial and contractual experience to support major EV charging and power distribution projects across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects.

• Prepare budgets, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

• Administer and negotiate JCT Contracts (NEC knowledge is a bonus).

• Work closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and contract compliance.

• Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, utilities, or electrical/EV sectors.

• Good working knowledge of JCT Contracts.

• Strong cost management, reporting, and commercial acumen.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
