Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

We are working with a regional Main Contractor who are looking to hire an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

They work on a variety of projects including Commercial, Hospitals, Residential and Education

Lots of good quality refurbishment projects throughout the Midlands region

With a very healthy pipeline of new projects they need an ambitious QS to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple construction projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Evaluate and manage project costs, materials, and services
• Maintain strong commercial relationships with clients
• Forecast costs
• Review and manage contracts
• Full range of Commercial duties

Person Specification:

• Proven experience as a Construction QS
• Strong understanding of contracts and commercial processes
• Excellent analytical, financial, and negotiation skills
• Effective communicator
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
