Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a well-established and reputable construction client who is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to completion, ensuring costs are controlled, risks are managed, and commercial objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of assigned projects

• Preparation of cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts

• Procurement and management of subcontractors

• Valuations, variations, and final account negotiations

• Monitoring project costs and reporting to senior management

• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks

• Ensuring compliance with contract and company procedures

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role

• Strong understanding of construction contracts

• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
