1. Salary: £150-£260 per day (paid weekly)
2. Contract: Full-time, Long-term

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join a thriving Humanities Department in a well-respected Coventry Secondary School. This is a long-term, full-time role starting in January, perfect for an educator who wants to make a lasting impact.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS5 that promote critical thinking and reflection
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages open dialogue
• Support students in developing both academic understanding and moral awareness
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to help every learner succeed
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, ensuring open, respectful and timely communication to celebrate success and address concerns
• Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence

Qualifications and Experience:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
• Proven experience teaching RE at Secondary level (KS3/KS4, KS5 desirable)

Vetting Checks:

• Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
• Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
