Role : Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer

Location : Birmingham to Northampton 

• Up to £47,000pa
• 40 hour week
• 1 in 4 on call rota
• Travel minus 30mins each way
• 21+8 days holiday
• Time and a half mon – sat & double time Sunday and bank hols
• X1.5 paid before 7am

We are a Refrigeration & Mechanical company with a number of regional offices across the country and currently part of a large group with 17 companies, offering job stability and long term career paths.  Our company alone currently employ over 150 engineers mainly supplying the hospitality sector.

We are currently seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team to work on one of our largest clients who are a well known coffee shop brand!

 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Carry out service, maintenance, and reactive repairs on a wide range of refrigeration and/or air conditioning equipment
• Diagnose faults efficiently and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime for clients
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with contract requirements
• Work on systems such as split AC systems, VRV/VRF, cold rooms, ice machines, and bottle coolers
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards
• Accurately complete job reports, service sheets, and compliance documentation
• Manage your own workload and schedule effectively while working independently in the field
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering excellent customer service at all times

  Essential Qualifications / Experience:

• FGAS or Equivalent
• NVQ level 2 refrigeration & air conditioning – desirable
• Driver’s Licence
