Refurb Project Manager - Social Housing

Job Description:

Our client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead refurbishment projects across the social housing sector in the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality housing improvements, planned works, and decarbonisation projects that make a real difference to communities.

Role responsibilities:

• Lead the successful delivery of social housing refurbishment projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money

• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners to achieve programme and budget targets

• Oversee health, safety, and environmental standards across all works

• Build strong relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders

• Report on project performance, ensuring KPIs and contractual requirements are met

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience managing refurbishment projects within social housing or similar environments

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

• Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and housing sector standards

• Ability to drive projects forward while maintaining excellent client and resident satisfaction
