Location & Role:
Thringstone, Leicester — new 3‑bed Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) service (first EBD service in the area for a trusted provider)

Introduction:
This is an opportunity to shape a brand new home in Thringstone from day one. As Registered Manager, you’ll lead, build culture, and deliver high‑quality care for young people in a fresh, purpose‑designed environment.

About the Role:
• Lead all operational, regulatory and care aspects of a 3‑bed EBD home
• Ensure high standards of therapeutic, behavioural and safeguarding practice
• Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff
• Manage budgets, contracts and relationships with stakeholders
• Produce reports, maintain compliance, and liaise with inspectors/placing authorities
• Oversee young people’s progress, care planning, risk management, and transitions

About You:
• Experience in residential care, ideally EBD or behavioural settings
• Previous leadership/managerial experience, including regulatory compliance
• Strong skills in staff development, performance management and mentoring
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision‑making skills
• Resilient, solution‑focused, and committed to high standards
• Registered Manager qualification (or willingness to achieve)
