🏡 Registered Manager – Residential Care Home
Location: Leicester (LE5)
Salary: £45,000 per year
Service Size: Under 10 service users
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a small residential care home supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge.

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a person-centred service that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion within a safe, homely environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the service
• Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary care team
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
• Manage staff performance, supervision, and training
• Maintain full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance
• Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders
• Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively
• Promote community engagement and independence for service users
• Respond effectively to challenges and incidents

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a care home or similar setting
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of person-centred care
• Good understanding of relevant legislation and CQC standards
• Financial and organisational management experience
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively
• Passionate, motivated, and committed to high-quality care
