About the Role
Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-quality care service in Coventry. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a proven track record of stability and success within previous roles, and the ability to ensure outstanding care delivery in line with CQC standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and management of all care and operational aspects of the service.
- Ensure the service is CQC compliant and consistently delivers safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.
- Oversee recruitment, supervision, and training of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Maintain robust quality assurance systems, conduct audits, and implement improvement plans where necessary.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure financial sustainability of the service.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals, promoting a culture of trust and transparency.
- Lead on safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the service, ensuring residents’ wellbeing and independence are at the forefront.
- Represent the service positively during inspections and external reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior management role within a residential or nursing care setting.
- Demonstrable longevity and stability within previous roles.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care and achieving the highest possible standards.
- Ability to work autonomously while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
