💰 £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Relationship Support Officer to join a growing Islamic Banking & Intermediary team at a well-established international bank, based in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Islamic Banking, relationship management, and credit support, working closely with experienced Relationship Managers in a client-focused environment.

As a Relationship Support Officer, you will support the Relationship Manager in the day-to-day management of a client portfolio. You will gain exposure to credit proposals, client servicing, and account monitoring, while developing a strong understanding of Islamic Banking products and client requirements.

This role is ideal for someone with banking experience or strong interest in financial services, looking to develop within a structured and supportive team.

• Assist in the preparation and processing of credit proposals, including financial analysis (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
• Support the servicing of existing clients and assist with identifying new business opportunities
• Maintain and monitor client accounts, including payments, documentation, and facility performance
• Track and follow up on due dates, renewals, and outstanding documentation
• Respond promptly to client queries and provide high-quality customer service
• Attend client meetings where required and prepare call reports
• Liaise with internal teams including Operations, Credit, and Compliance to ensure smooth service delivery
• Support ongoing account reviews and portfolio monitoring
• Maintain accurate records, including insurance policies, stock reports, and account documentation

• Degree qualified (preferred but not essential)
• Up to 3 years' experience within banking or financial services (desirable)
• Strong interest in Islamic Banking and financial products
• Good understanding of financial analysis and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Team player with a proactive and flexible approach

• Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to learn and develop within Islamic Banking
