Remote Structural Engineer- Surveying

Job Description:

Think Recruitment are currently working with an independent consultancy who are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to support their surveying projects across the Midlands.

This role is ideal for someone experienced in structural assessments, site surveys, and producing accurate reports without the need for full-time on-site presence. You'll collaborate with the wider team to interpret survey data, assess structural integrity, and provide clear recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret site survey data, photos, and measurements
• Conduct structural assessments for residential and/or commercial properties
• Produce detailed structural reports, calculations, and recommendations
• Identify defects, risks, and necessary remedial works
• Collaborate with surveyors, architects, and project managers remotely
• Ensure compliance with relevant UK building regulations and standards
• Provide occasional guidance for on-site survey teams when needed
