Job Description:
Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.
They have a vacancy for a qualified electrician to cover the Nottingham, Leicester & Northampton area carrying out the wiring of renewables technologies within domestic social housing properties.
The Role:
- Conduct periodic inspection, testing and certifications.
- Installation of renewables systems such as Air Source Heat Pumps ensuring compliance and operational safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical failures and faults on systems.
- Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
- Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in renewables technology (essential).
- 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
- 18th edition Qualification
- 2391 Test & Inspection or Equivalent
- Part P is desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
The Package:
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Overtime paid at an hourly rate.
- Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
- Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (depend on experience)
