We are seeking a highly organised and empathetic Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join our delivery team on a planned works programme involving kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, as well as window and door replacements across occupied social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer:
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents before, during, and after works
Issue notices and letters to inform residents of planned works and timelines
Coordinate resident appointments for surveys, access, installations, and snagging
Manage and resolve tenant concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Work closely with site management, surveyors, and contractors to coordinate daily activities
Maintain detailed records of resident engagement, feedback, and property-specific notes
Support vulnerable tenants with tailored communication and arrangements
Attend tenant meetings, open days, and drop-in sessions as required
The ideal Resident Liaison Officer will have:
Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a tenant-facing role within social housing or construction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
Compassionate and patient approach, particularly with vulnerable tenants
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
