Residential Support Worker (Young People)

Location: DE23 (Derbyshire)
Salary: £12.25/hr + £50 sleep in
Contract Type: Full-time
Shifts: 1 on 2 off, 8am-10.30pm + Sleep
UK Right to Work required – Sponsorship not available

We are currently recruiting Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team, supporting children and young people aged 8–18 with a range of complex needs including Learning Disabilities, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Autism, and ADHD.

  What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support in a nurturing home environment

• Promote independence and positive outcomes through meaningful routines, activities, and life skills

• Build strong, trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and behavioural needs

• Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to deliver consistent support

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and safeguarding procedures

  About You:

• Experience working with young people with additional needs is desirable but not essential – we provide full training!

• Compassionate, resilient, and calm under pressure

• Able to work as part of a team and follow care plans consistently

• Must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship
