EUROPEAN ROADFREIGHT OPERATOR
Salary: £30,000
Contract: 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT.

Based in Tamwoth

Freight Forwarding / Groupage & Full Load

We are looking to recruit a European Road Freight Operator to manage and coordinate international road freight movements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international road freight movements (FTL, LTL, groupage)
• Plan and book collections and deliveries with carriers and partners
• Negotiate rates and manage transport costs
• Prepare and maintain accurate transport documentation
• Track shipments and proactively manage delays or issues
• Communicate regularly with customers and internal departments
• Maintain accurate data within operating systems
• Identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency

Key Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years’ experience in European road freight (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of road transport operations and documentation
• Understanding of Incoterms, ADR, and customs processes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
