SC Cleared HPC Consultant
Initial 3-month Contract Role
£600 - 700, Inside IR35

We're working with a global IT services provider seeking an HPC Containerisation Expert to assess HPC environments and advise on container strategies for HPC and ML workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct reviews of existing HPC infrastructure
• Assess and optimize HPC infrastructure, workloads, and scheduling environments.
• Define HPC containerization strategies and MPI-optimized build pipelines.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities across HPC/ML workloads.
• Lead technical workshops and provide clear architectural recommendations.

Requirements:

• SC Cleared (candidates without this will not be considered)
• Strong HPC background, including hands-on experience with Beowulf cluster environments
• Strong knowledge of Slurm job scheduling
