Job Title: School Business Manager
Location: Odyssey Collaborative Trust – Oakwood Junior School
Contract Type: Temporary (Immediate start – 17 July 2026)
Working Pattern: 2.5 or 3 days per week (flexible - can be full days or spread across the week)

Odyssey Collaborative Trust is seeking an experienced and proactive Business Manager to support Oakwood Junior School during a period of staff absence. This temporary role is essential in ensuring the school continues to operate smoothly and maintains its commitment to providing a positive and effective learning environment for all pupils.

You will be a key part of the leadership and administration structure, contributing to the ongoing success of the school by overseeing daily operations and supporting strategic decision-making.

• Provide administrative and strategic oversight across core operational functions including:
  • Finance
  • HR
  • IT
  • Health & Safety
  • Premises & Facilities
  • GDPR/Data Management
• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office, aligning processes with school values and priorities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to developing team capability.
• Make effective use of school resources to support the School Development Plan and overall operational effectiveness.

• An experienced school business manager with strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Someone confident managing multiple operational areas and supporting school leadership.
• A proactive, solution-focused individual who can adapt quickly and work effectively in a busy school environment.
