Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for a Maths Teacher with the enthusiasm to inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll be responsible for creating lessons that strike the perfect balance between stretch and support—preparing pupils thoroughly for their GCSEs while building their confidence and resilience. As part of a collaborative and innovative department, you’ll have the chance to shape curriculum design, share best teaching practices, and experiment with new resources and methods.

If you enjoy go-to teaching that sparks curiosity both in and beyond the classroom, this role is for you. You may also lead enrichment activities such as maths clubs, competitions, or mentoring schemes—helping students develop real confidence with numbers and empowering them to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations with structured progression.

• Track and assess student progress effectively.

• Contribute to department planning and enrichment.

Requirements

• QTS with a specialism in Mathematics.

• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.

• Ability to motivate pupils and uphold high expectations.
