The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support students in developing confidence, fluency and problem-solving skills in Mathematics. Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering structured, differentiated Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential)
Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress to raise attainment
Creating a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
Working collaboratively with the Head of Maths, Teaching Assistants and wider staff
Adapting teaching strategies to support students with SEND, EAL or additional learning needs
Building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
Contributing to enrichment opportunities and supporting intervention programmes where appropriate
About You
We are looking for a Maths Teacher who is:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
Confident teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
Passionate about Mathematics and committed to raising student achievement
Calm, reflective and consistent in their approach to behaviour management
A strong communicator who works effectively as part of a team
Organised, adaptable and confident in managing classroom routines
